What is the EDGAR PMAC?

The Password Modification Authorization Code (PMAC) is an EDGAR access code that is used specifically to modify the Password that is used to log into the EDGAR system for a particular CIK. This code is automatically generated by EDGAR upon acceptance of your Form ID and can be generated by EDGAR upon request via the EDGAR Filer Management Website, using your EDGAR Passphrase. Because the PMAC is used to update your EDGAR password, you should keep it strictly controlled and confidential.

The PMAC is an eight-character code that has at least one number (0-9) and at least one special character (@, #, $, *). It is case-sensitive. You must provide your PMAC when updating your EDGAR Password.
